What We Offer: The BCCH BioBank offers a comprehensive range of services, including sample processing, aliquoting, storage, patient consenting, sample coordination, documentation, and shipping. We collect a variety of biological samples such as frozen tissues, blood, bone marrow, and other biospecimens like urine, CSF, and saliva.

How to Access Our Samples: Researchers interested in accessing our samples can follow a straightforward application process:

  1. Contact us to inquire about sample availability.

  2. Complete and submit a biobank application form along with an ethics protocol and certificate.

  3. Await application review by the Scientific Access Subcommittee.

  4. Sign a Material Transfer Agreement.

  5. Obtain the required samples from the BCCH BioBank.

Our extensive collection includes both pediatric and maternal samples, with detailed categories available for each, ensuring that researchers have access to the specific specimens they need for their studies.
